Mexico In 2016, I took another family vacation to Mexico’s Riviera Maya region. We stayed at a beautiful 5-star resort with five different restaurants and five different pools. It was absolutely perfect. We had delicious food and the staff was amazing. We also did a lot of sightseeing, including visiting Xcaret, which was incredible. Chasing the Serpant Shadow at Chichen Itza. Recently, I’ve been travelling to the Seven Wonders of the World, so I decided to visit Chichen Itza, one of the pyramids. I went during the equinox to see the serpent shadow, which is formed by the sun setting on the pyramid. It was truly amazing to see. My tour guide also showed me how to clap my hands to hear an echo that sounds like a bird. I learned a lot about the history of Chichen Itza and was fascinated by everything I saw.
Reuniting with Family and Partying in Playa del Carmen. On my way home from Chichen Itza, I stopped in Playa del Carmen to visit my cousin and their family. I was only supposed to stay for a couple of drinks, but I ended up partying all night! It was so much fun to catch up with my cousin after 20 years. The next day, I headed back to my hotel in Tulum. Exploring Tulum and Hitting the Jungle Gym. I stayed at a beautiful hotel in Tulum and had an amazing time.
I also went to the Tulum Mayan ruins, which were another great place to learn about history. To top off my trip, I went to the jungle gym on the beach. It was an amazing place to work out.
